Holy Heroes Lenten Adventure – Day 1

Welcome to Holy Heroes Lenten Adventure! We are so glad that you and your family will be joining us for the Lenten season as we prepare our hearts and minds for Easter. Every day, you will be receiving an email with a daily webpage full of Lenten Resources! Feel free to personalize your use of these resources—don’t feel like you need to use all of them unless they fit the needs of your family!

Today is Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent. If you are able to attend mass today, you will notice that the priest is wearing purple. This is a great visual for younger children to help them understand that we are entering into a very distinct, serious, and holy season in the Church.

Here are three quick things about today’s page:
